Indian Educational and Charitable Trust
Sukhashraya Trust is a registered Indian Educational and Charitable Trust working especially for the welfare of the underprivileged since 2012.
Sukha means well-being and happiness and ashraya means shelter or bestowing of a protective space. Sukhashraya means bestowing happiness. The trust was set up with the intention of providing empowerment and a platform for development for women, children, and society in general.
Our Work So Far
Since inception, with a passion for education and learning we have through the years supported children and youth with school and college fee support, with learning materials, laptops, and tablets, as well as tuition support.
We have also conducted health, nature, and legal awareness camps, as well as provided vocation training and entrepreneurship development support to a select few.
We specialise in curating innovative learning methods and facilitating children and teachers into the wonder of learning. We facilitated field trips for children from deserving backgrounds to ignite a passion for learning and wonder of new experiences. We took them to several spaces – planetariums, zoos, museums, etc. Now we plan to streamline our work in three areas: Education, Health, and Research.
